Plot
Ugly Betty is back!. We last left Betty after she broke up with her boyfriend Matt and he positioned himself in an ulitmate spot for revenge by becoming her new boss. Christina left Mode and moved away so Betty is pretty much alone at work and needs all the friends she can get. Her new office-mate is not going to be one of them. Her name is Megan and you can add her to the list of people who want to take Betty down. Also on that list is Marc, who’s a bitterbert about losing his potential new job to Betty and has made it his mission to get rid of her.
Wilhelmina has been hiding her often out of the picture daughter Nico. Willie’s cliffhanger from last season is revealed to be Nico showing up covered in blood asking for help. Unfortunately it wasn’t her ex boyfriend Connor.Turns out Nico tried to defend herself against an abusive boyfriend and you know..accidentally killed him. That’s quite a big problem. But Wilhelmina is there to save the day and try and protect her from the copper who’s asking questions. Nico’s fake alibi includes a Gilmore Girls marathon.
Daniel’s back and he’s got a beard. Betty has to go save him from security at an airport. His wife dying is really rattling him. He spends the majority of this episode freaking out and beating the crap out of inanimate objects. He needs someone and Betty’s there for him and she’s bringing chinese food and Scrabble… even if it costs her problems at work. Which it does. Just as she makes progress with Matt and Megan and seems like she’s fitting in, she gets thrown two steps back.
