"Slater" was a magazine for the sophisticated and fashion concious woman. It was one of Wilhelmina's many attempts to take over Mode and Meade. After realising that she would never be the editor in cheif for Mode she decided to make her own magazine.She even came to the Mode offices to try and persuade the staff to work for her magazine. Unfortunately her plan came to a halt after insufficent funds. After giving up the magazine she went onto a new plan to have Bradfords baby.
