Rodrigo was the Creative Director at Mode's sister publication, Mode Brasil, therefore he was Wilhelmina's Brazlilian counterpart, and he was clearly just as ambitious and ruthless. At Wilhelmina's instigation, Bradford paid Rodrigo to romance Alexis and he also promised to promote him to Editor-in-Chief if he could convince Alexis to resign from Mode and move to Brazil.
