Rodrigo Veloso is a minor recurring character who appeared on the first season of Ugly Betty. He is portrayed by Cristián de la Fuente.
Biography[]
Rodrigo was the Creative Director at Mode's sister publication, Mode Brasil, therefore he was Wilhelmina's Brazilian counterpart, and he was clearly just as ambitious and ruthless. At Wilhelmina's instigation, Bradford paid Rodrigo to romance Alexis and he also promised to promote him to Editor-in-Chief if he could convince Alexis to resign from Mode and move to Brazil. Alexis learned the truth right before she was about to make the life-changing move to South America and she was so devastated that she decided to hire a hit man to "eliminate" her father.
