Philippe Michel is a minor character who only appeared in the first episode of Ugly Betty. He is portrayed by William Abadie.
Philippe is a photographer who sometimes works for MODE. He and Daniel had been friends for many years, even after Daniel seduced Philippe's girlfriend, or so it seemed. Philippe secretly conspired with Wilhelmina, unbeknownst to Daniel.
Before getting involved with Daniel, Amanda had gone out with Philippe for about a week.

- Philippe was originally intended to be a regular character as William Abadie could be seen in many of the early promotional photos for the show—but he was never seen again after the first episode.
- He was probably intended to be the counterpart of Mario Calderon from "Yo soy Betty, la fea," but Philippe's plotting with Wilhelmina would have been a new plot twist.
