Jesse is a minor recurring character on the third season of Ugly Betty. He is portrayed by Val Emmich.
When Betty moved into apartment 5G (750 W. 27th St., Manhattan), she was soon crushing on her new neighbor Jesse, and he seemed to like her too. ("The Manhattan Project") Jesse was a musician, so Betty planned a Mode after party on the roof of their building so Jesse and his band, Dark Sexual Journey, could play the gig. Unfortunately, she later caught him making out with Amanda Tanen. As Betty was preparing to move back to Queens she forgave Jesse and went on a date with him, but she discovered that his favorite subjects were himself and his music, so they decided just to be friends.
