Hector Vasquez is a minor character who appeared in the second season of Ugly Betty.
Hector is the son of Ramiro Vasquez and an unnamed woman. When Rosa Suarez married Hector's father, they formed a mother-son type relationship. It is said that she loved him like her own son. Rosa and the family cook, Ignacio, protected Hector from his father's abuse, but they fled the country together when he was 5 - leaving him to endure the abuse alone.
